The Quark is an ultra-compact integrated reader for low-power, high-performance RAIN RAIN RFID applications.
With output power programmable in 15 steps from 9dBm to 23dBm, the reader can detect tags more than 1 mt away (depending on antenna and tag dimensions).
Due to its low power consumption, the module is specifically designed to be easily integrated into battery-powered devices as well as powered directly by a standard USB port.
The module’s radio frequency core allows for fast reading and to be used in dense reader and dense label environments for first class nominal performance.
The device’s compactness and plate-to-board connector allow the QUARK to be integrated into new industrial handheld small form factor readers, smartphone accessories, small USB backpacks and other compact form factor devices. The QUARK is compliant and can operate in both European and U.S. regulatory environments and, due to its multiregional capabilities, is ideal for integration into devices requiring compliance in different geographic regions.
