CAEN’s A927Z is a low-cost, rugged, semi-passive UHF logger label that enables temperature sensitive products such as perishable foods and pharmaceuticals to be monitored during transport and storage.

The combination of the high-resolution sensor, the large memory and the standard RFID interface enables effective tracking and tracing solutions for the cold chain. The A927Z can be used with standard UHF RFID readers available on the market without requiring any additional equipment thanks to its compatibility with EPCGlobal C1G2 and ISO18000-6C standards. The label can be configured to store temperature samples at intervals of 8 seconds to 18 hours in the internal memory that can contain up to 8,000 samples. User can set alarms for high and low temperature thresholds for precise control of temperature excursions.

The robust housing of this recorder makes it the perfect choice for cold chain monitoring in hostile environments or in the presence of strong vibrations.
